Transport Festival

This year is the 15th anniversary of the Llandudno Transport Festival.

Attractions will include:

300 Commercials of Lorries and Buses
130 Motorcycles
140 Tractors
Bicycles
Stationary Engines
Miniature Steam
250 Vintage and Classic Cars per day

 What's on?

From 10am Saturday morning, the Preserved Bus Service will go from the main gate of the showground to the town centre's Victorian Extravaganza.

 Bus service runs throughout the 3 days until 5pm.

Saturday evening Road Run will go to Conwy, home of the Edward I, 13th Century Castle and the Telford Suspension Bridge.

The run will start at 6pm from the Showground and is open to all vehicle classes.

Sunday's exhibition will have a Classic Car capacity of around 300, and will host the Llandudno Crosville Gathering, attracting around 30 ex-Crosville buses.

At 11,30am, a small number of vehicles from the festival, including pre1950s motorcycles and cars will leave the showground and head to the station to join the Victorian Extravaganza street parade that starts at 12 midday.

Sunday evenings 6pm Road Run will take place on Marine drive at the base of the Great Orme. All classes welcome except double decker buses.

 On Monday, gates open at 9am, Street Parade takes place at 12 midday and the show closes at 5pm.

Victorian Extravaganza

This year is the 22nd anniversary of the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza.

Modern fair now limited to a small area.

 Main street full of Traditional Fayre Ground attractions including Street Entertainers, Traction Engines and Organs.

For the first time, the only remaining travelling Boxing Booth, which dates back from the late 1800's, will visit the town.

What's On? 

On Saturday, the main arena will have the crowning of the May Queen at 1pm and a fire and juggling show at 3pm.

On Sunday, there will be the National Town Criers Contest at 2pm with a special extravaganza show at 3.45pm.

On Monday, there is fancy dress at 1pm and a performance by the Royal Welsh Corps of Drums 4th Battalion at 2pm.

From 11am in arena 2, the North Western Gardens, there will be a George Formby Society and free children's workshop running every day.

The Rhyl Silver Band Live Concert will take place every day at 2pm on the main stage at Upper Mostyn Street and there will be 6 performances by the HotFoot Jazzmen on Saturday and Sunday.

Evening entertainment on Saturday will come from the Llandudno Town Band at 6.30pm and the Linzi Grace School of Dance at 9pm.
