RADIO and TV presenter Mike Doyle will be bringing his mix of music and comedy to North Wales in autumn.
Mike’s big break came on BBC’s Bob Says Opportunity Knocks in 1988 and two years later he won Best Stage Newcomer at the British Comedy Awards.
Since then he’s been in three Royal Variety Performances, plus The Des O’Connor show, Pebble Mill at One and The Big Breakfast.
He’s worked with Danny La Rue and Cannon and Ball, plus starred in the West End in musicals Buddy and Grease. He’s also acted in plays Contender – when he spent six months training as a boxer – plus John Godber’s Bouncers.
A non-stop worker, every Christmas he pops up in panto, and has also presented comedy TV shows on BBC and HTV.
Mike has travelled the UK with his Tribute to Mario Lanza and An Evening with Mike Doyle, and further afield with cruise lines P&O, Royal Caribbean, Silver Seas and Cunard.
His latest CD, What Colour Is The Wind, along with the tour, will raise funds for the RNIB.
