FOOTLOOSE the dance musical is making its way to Rhyl Pavilion this spring.

Directed and choregraphed by Karen Bruce (known for Saturday Night Fever, The Wedding Singer and Never Forget, Fame), the show will take the audience through all the classic 80s hits, including holding out for a hero and the title track Footloose.

Steven Pinder, award winning actor from Brookside and best known for playing Max Farnham in the long running soap Brookside, will take to the stage as Reverend Shaw Moore.

Writer Kevin Bacon’s character of Ren McCormack dared to dance his way out of Chicago and into small town Bomont in the movie.

This will be the fifth tour of the show with Max Milne. He was in The King and I at the London Palladium and in Robin Hood at the New Theatre in Cardiff, and is playing Ren McCormack throughout 2011.

In the movie the too-cool-for-school teenager Ren McCormack dared to dance his way out of Chicago and into small town Bomont.

Due to the film’s success, its title track went from gold to platinum to multi-platinum in record time

Footloose, Rhyl Pavilion, April 18-23. Tickets  01745 33 00 00 or book online: www.rhylpavilion.co.uk
