Pink Floyd

An Australian Pink Floyd tribute act was cancelled last night as the lead guitarist was rushed to hospital.

The band were treating fans to songs from the classic 1979 album The Wall when Steve Mac  took ill three quarters of the way through the concert at Venue Cymru, Llandudno.

At the moment there is uncertainty as to whether or not the people who attended will get their money back.

A spokesperson for the venue said: "The show went ahead and lasted three quarters of the way through before the guitarist took ill.

"As for any refund, as far as I know, not at the moment".

The crowd were not too upset as they understood why the band could not go on.

"The tour manager came up onto the stage and explained the situation to the crowd and they were very supportive, they even gave the band a cheer."

The band started touring in 1988 and hope to continue their summer UK tour which goes onto Norwich next.

Although Venue Cymru didn't get a full set from the band they hope to have the band next year.
"We understand that the band are fully booked up for this tour but we are hoping to get them back next year."
