Built as a Georgian show piece in 1832 the hotel now has 43 en-suite bedrooms, a fine restaurant, coffee shop, Real Ale bars and lounges with open coal gas fire.
All the bedrooms are serviced by a lift and we have facilities for our disabled guests. More on our rooms. During your stay you can go online as the bedrooms have dial up data ports and the ground floor is covered by hotel's wifi. We also have a car park for 30 cars.

For your convenience all the rooms are furnished with a coffee/tea maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There's a lift to all floors and we have facilities for our disabled guests.

Enjoy a mid-morning coffee and cake in the coffee shop, a lunch-time taste of Real Ale in the bar, or a leisurely afternoon tea in the garden or on the terrace, as you admire the spectacular panoramic views across the water to the mountains of Snowdonia.
In the evening relax in the Hotel's cocktail bar or comfortable lounge and take an aperitif before adjourning to our restaurant.
The Bulkeley serves a "Taste of Wales" menus and we pride ourselves on cooking the best of fresh local produce creatively, complemented by an extensive wine list. Our food is regularly served to piano accompaniment.

Situated amid the 13th Century town of Beaumaris with its Edwardian Castle, this Grade 1 listed building still exudes the luxurious ambience of the Georgian era, whilst offering all that is best in modern comfort.
The Bulkeley Hotel is an excellent venue for Wedding Receptions and Conferences, being able to accommodate up to 140 people in our Function Room.

Beaumaris is a beautiful old town on the eastern side of the historic Island of Anglesey (Ynys Mon, Mother of Wales), a ramble of shops, dwellings, museums, attractions, tea houses, pubs and restaurants, with the famous 13th Century Castle in its centre.
Go Fishing:
The Victorians established sailing in Beaumaris, ‘The Cowes of the North' and several fleets of classic yachts still sail from the town today.
The sea fishing is some of the finest in Britain. There are eleven golf courses close by and seven National Trust properties.

Alternatively you could simply sit on a beach and look at the view or immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of history that saturates this area of North Wales.
What's on at the Bulkeley
The Hotel has a recently refurbished Restaurant with a resident Pianist.
The Castle Cocktail Lounge is now open and entertainment in the Hotel include, Ballroom dancing, Tea dances, plus regular evening functions and Dinner Dances. We also have special events like the Boxing Day ‘Hot Pennies' and don't forget Bonfire Night in Beaumaris!
