Llandudno Pier - Introduction
Described as "The undisputed Queen of piers in Wales" Llandudno Pier. The pier is a must see attraction when visiting North Wales and is an attraction both suitable for old and young. The Pier is a grade 2 listed building and originally took just over a year to complete and was opened to the public in 1878.The pier is unique as it has 2 entrances - one at the front of the promenade and 1 half way down at the happy valley it is also the longest pier in Wales stretching nearly half a mile out to sea and won Pier of the year in 2005 from the National Piers Society. With panoramic views of the happy valley gardens and with the great orme set in its backdrop what better way to spend a summer’s day than strolling down a Victorian pier with olde worlde features. The Pier is open 364 days of the year and boasts many different attractions including a fish & chip shop , cafe , bar , novelty gift shops , fairground rides , children’s play area , ice cream kiosks , sweet & confectionary kiosks as well as live entertainment every day through the summer months.

Llandudno Pier Food & Beverage
The pier boasts many different kiosks offering a wide range of products. As you enter the pier off the promenade you are met by the smell of freshly cooked doughnuts a must for any trip to the seaside. Also available at the front of the pier are hot dogs, candy floss and of course the traditional soft ice creams. If you prefer we have a quaint little coffee shop selling fresh ground coffee from the star bucks range “Seattle’s best”. Also on the pier there is a fish & chip shop and Bar and café so there is plenty of choice for things to eat and drink. During the main summer season you can enjoy having a drink at the bottom of the pier whilst watching our live entertainment every afternoon with a live jazz band performing every weekend. The pier also has 2 different confectionary kiosks selling local fudge,bisquits and jam whilst also offering a huge pick and mix selection and of course the customary Llandudno Pier rock. The café offers a wide range of snacks and main meals with our main focus on healthy eating. But if you did fancy something special then why not try our Carte d’or kiosk with over 12 varieties of delicious creamy ice cream.

Llandudno Pier Attractions shops and rides
On the pier you can find fun for all the family. We have two arcades on the pier with the main arcade Leisure Island open all year round and have all the latest arcade games as well as an all cash gambling area (over 18’s). On the pier you will find numerous novelty and gift shops selling a wide range of gifts with some real bargains to be found. There is a children’s play area with a Bouncy castle and a huge bumpy slide and if that’s not enough fun for the kids then there are numerous fairground rides and go-karts they could try.
Goods sold in shops range: Leather Goods, Ceramics, Clothes, Tapes & cd’s, Binoculars, Jewellery, Local photography prints, Joke shop, Sporting goods, Welsh gifts, Cards, Books, Aromatherapy plus numerous different gift shops. If you wish to go fishing whilst on the pier you can purchase day fishing tickets from the tackle shop which is found by the happy valley entrance to the pier although be advised fishing is only permitted on the landing stage during the day.

Live Entertainment 

The main season is about to kick in we have live entertainment daily on the pier from 1.30pm till 4pm Monday to Friday including Male and Female vocalists and comedy acts for all the family. At the weekend we have the River City Jazz Band playing from 1pm till 5pm at the end of the pier followed by live evening entertainment starting at 8.30pm till 10.30pm. Come along and enjoy the atmoshpere in the bar at the end of the pier!
