Things to do in Llandudno

No matter what your taste, there is always something to do in Llandudno. For the kids, the beaches are always a big draw in the summer months.

Both north and west shore a hugely popular in the summer months with people enjoying family holidays in north Wales. West shore is also a very popular kite surfing venue with the Turbulence team often seen there.

You could not go to Llandudno without going up the Great Orme. This is one North Wales' most recognisable features, and whether you walk up or chose to ride the cable car, the views once you are up these are guaranteed to be magnificent.

While up on the Great Orme you might also want to try out Llandudno's dry ski slope.

Back down in the town Llandudno pier is a very famous icon. With amusement arcades, gift shops, a bar, and very popular fishing marks many an hour can be lost here.

The town's retail centre is also booming. With shops on Mostyn Street and the Victoria Centre now added to by the out of town Park Llandudno. Here you will find many of the high street's biggest names including Debenhams and Top Shop, add to this Mostyn Champneys retail park and you really can shop til you drop.

For those seeking out a bit of history there is Llandudno Museum and the Great Orme Copper mines.

Finally we have the nightlife in Llandudno. There are numerous friendly bars and pubs in Llandudno and for those who have brought their dancing shoes Broadway Boulevard is the areas top nightclub.

If you are looking for something a little more sedate you are sure to find something more to taste at Venue Cymru. The town's theatre attracts people from all over North Wales and beyond, with some of the top names in theatre, comedy and music having performed there.

Anyone willing to travel and find Snowdonia just a stones throw away, ideal for walking or mountain biking. The beauty of the Conwy Valley is right on the doorstep giving you the chance to step away from the seaside for a moment and enjoy the beauty of rural North Wales in places like Betws-y-Coed, Llanrwst and Dolwyddelan.
