Here is a training guide to help you get the most out of your profile page, which you can update at any time and on any computer.
Your Profile Page contains areas for:
Contact Details
Business Description (including hyper links)
Pictures
Offer Details
Plus a Map (which is created dynamically from your postcode)
1.SIGN IN
Go to www.northwales.co.uk/cms and enter your email address and the password provided to you.
If you ever forget your passward please email password@northwales.co.uk
2. WELCOME PAGE
This page gives you details of when your Profile Page was last accessed.
3. EDITING PAGE CONTENT
Click on “Edit Page Content” Link on the left.
You will see you business name, details of the last page activity, and editing option.
Click on the EDIT button.
4. ADD / CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS
Click on the “Address Detail” Tab.
Enter your Address, Postcode, Telephone, Website and Email into the space provided.
This will appear in your business listing, and at the top of your profile page.
5. ADD A SPECIAL OFFER BOX
Click on the “Offer Detail” tab.
Enter text that you want to see highlighted on your page. This can be anything from Special Offers, Directions, Opening Times, Testimonials, etc.
6. ADD PAGE TEXT
Adding content onto your page couldn't be easier.
Simply use the text editor in the same that you use Word. Type in all of the text you want to see on your page, use lines to break up bigs chunks of text, bold text for extra impact, add links to external websites.
7. ADD A LINK
Highlight the text you would like to link, and click the link button
A pop up window will appear.
Enter your external website address (including http://)
Click “Insert”
8. EDIT CONTENT IMAGE
Click on the “Add Content Image” Button.
A pop up box will appear.
By clicking “Add Image” you can upload pictures into your own personal library from your computer.
Click “Select”
This image will appear in the top top right hand corner of your page, and next to your listing (Premier Pick only.)
9. ADDING A LARGE CLICK THROUGH IMAGE
In the pop up box you have the option to click through to a larger image.
This image can be as large as 500px width and offers the chance to really 'wow' with large images of your business.
10. SAVE PAGE
Press “Save And Publish” to see all of your content appear on your live website.
